When It Comes To Our Health, Listening To Our Body Is An Important Skill To Have.

Our bodies have a lot to tell us if we will only listen. We all know what it feels like to be happy, sad, or hopeful. We even know what it feels like to be thirsty, hungry, or sleepy, but many times we tend to ignore these feelings.

Ignoring the warning signals that our bodies try to give us can be harmful or even deadly. Continuing to eat even after our body sends us signals that it’s full can result in us being overweight. Not getting enough sleep at night despite our body warning us it’s tired can leave us feeling fatigued the next day, and heart attacks rarely just appear out of the blue without some prior signals given by the body, such as chest and/or arm pain, or fatigue.

We must remember to work with our bodies and not against them. To pay attention to warning signs from our bodies and get enough sleep, stay hydrated by drinking enough liquids, stay active, keep our weight under control, and keep our stress levels down.
